Static vs dynamic QR codes
The QR codes made on this page are static: the information is stored inside the pattern itself. They never expire and need no account, but you cannot change them after printing and you cannot see scans.
Dynamic QR codes store a short link that redirects to your real destination. You can edit the destination any time and track scans. For anything you will print in large quantity, a dynamic QR is the safer choice. Create dynamic QR codes on GoldenQR.
Tips for a QR that scans well
- Keep strong contrast: dark code on a light background.
- Leave the white margin around the code.
- Print at least 2 cm ร 2 cm and test with two different phones.
- For UPI codes, always test a small payment first.
