How to Write a Photography Quotation (Wedding, Event & Product)
Photography clients compare packages, so clarity wins. Spell out what they get, how long you will shoot and when they receive the photos.
What to include
- Coverage: number of hours or days, number of photographers and videographers.
- Deliverables: number of edited photos, online gallery, highlight video, raw files (yes or no).
- Products: albums, prints, frames and USB drives, with sizes and page counts.
- Delivery time: for example 30 days for edited photos.
- Travel and stay: included or charged extra outside your city.
- Overtime: rate per extra hour.
- Usage rights: whether you may use the photos in your portfolio.

Payment schedule
Take a booking advance to block the date (commonly 30 to 50%), the next part before the event and the balance before delivering the final files. Make the advance non-refundable and say so in writing. See payment terms.
Offer packages
Three packages (Basic, Standard, Premium) help clients choose without bargaining on each line. Price the middle one to be the most attractive.
